In 2024:
- 3,923 lodgments were income tax returns for prior years, a decrease of 12% compared to 2023
- 2,602 lodgments were income tax returns for the current year, an increase of 59% compared to 2023
- 666 lodgments were activity statements for prior periods, an increase of 121% compared to 2023
- 314 lodgments were activity statements for the current period, an increase of 49% compared to 2023.

- 2,878 were about tax advice, an increase of 282% compared to 2023
- 616 were about debt, an increase of 308% compared to 2023
- 75 were about objections or legal advice (comparison data not available).
The program updated its reporting methodology in mid-2024 to improve the identification of client circumstances and vulnerabilities. The full benefits of these changes will be realised from January 2025 and some data discrepancies are expected in the interim.
